From the port you can sail on a cruise recreational, diving or fishing.
Variety of operators operate charter vessels for dive trips and their expertise is all important. In addition to day boats there are also larger vessels that offer include cabin accommodation for longer dive excursions.
You can choose from public and private cruises on a variety of scenic routes such as the dockyard & warships, Calstock & Tamar Valley and Morwellham Quay. See the sights of Plymouth on harbour cruise vessels, passing RAF Mount Batten, along the famous Hoe.Take in the lovely views across Plymouth Sound, passing Smeatons Tower, Drakes Island and the beautiful Mount Edgecombe Park. You can choose from day trips, weekend getaways and 6-days cruises.
Longer trips are combined with visits to the islands Scilly, lighthouses and charming village Cornish.
In our coastal waters, you can encounter bottlenose dolphin, common dolphin, minke whales, and killer whales.
Overall, there are boat trips ranging from the sedate to the adventurous, but all carry appropriate (and strict) safety certification. Many of the larger vessels also offer refreshments and have high standards of comfort.
